Mr. Alfred Lewis Nunley, 71, passed away Monday, September 7, 2009 in the Brookhaven Manor Nursing Home, Kingsport, TN.
He was a native of Coeburn, VA, born November 3, 1937 to the late Charles Alfonzo Nunley and Viola Vance Nunley. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph Nunley, Billy Raymond Nunley and Charles Nunley, Jr.,
He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Beulah Mae and Alex Browning, a sister-in-law, Gearldine Nunley and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Brookhaven Manor Nursing Home for their support and care during Alfred's stay with them. Also a special thanks to Don Nunley for his support and care.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Farris Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Round Top Cemetery, between Clintwood and Wise, Virginia.
