Amanda Breann Moore

Dateline: Abingdon, Va.-Amanda Breann Moore, age 28, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 30, 2015, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was born in Big Stone Gap, Va. on July 3, 1987, the third of four daughters born to Steven Gary Moore and Regenia Cooper Moore. She grew up in Abingdon, Va. and spent the past five years of her life living with her son, Grayson, in Pompano Beach, Fla. Amanda was adventurous, loved hiking, the outdoors, the beach, and got to travel across the country within last few months of her life. She loved God and had a charitable heart. Above all, Amanda had what this world needs...compassion for all. She had many, many close friends all over that can't all be named on one page, but two special from the beginning of grade school, April Vance Lewis and Nicole Lapoint. Amanda will forever stay in our hearts and be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Fred Moore and Rebecca Maggard Moore; and maternal grandparents, Walter Cooper and Shirley Swinney Cooper. In addition to her parents and son, Amanda is survived by three sisters: Jessica Rogers and husband Clifton of Abingdon, Va.; Jennifer Vanover and husband Jeremy of Abingdon, Va.; and Julia Moore of Bristol, Va.; and a niece and two nephews, McKinzie Williams, Tyler Rogers, and Noah Rogers.Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Tim Norris and Pastor David Webb officiating. Pallbearers will be Fred Moore, Larry Bridges, Levi Buckles, Clifton Rogers, Jeremy Vanover, Matthew Lewis, Sam Cooper, and Charles Bailey. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
