Angela Denise Hawthorne, 46, died Wednesday October 7, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. She was a resident of the Southwest Virginia Training Center and Hospital in Hillsville and a member of Fellowship Chapel.
She is survived by her parents, Gene and Hazel Hawthorne of Bristol, Va; 3 brothers, Darrell Gene Hawthorne, Gary Lee Hawthorne, and Christopher Carl Hawthorne, all of Bristol; 1 half-sister, Shirley Willis of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, October 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Chad Gardner officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 â?? 8:00 p.m. at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Adam Hawthorne, Alex Wright, Shane Hawthorne, Ricky Belcher, Mike Belcher, Jeff Belcher, and Junior Belcher.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Southwest Virginia Training Center and Hospital for their care of Angela.
