Anita Elizabeth Nelson

Anita Elizabeth Nelson, age 58, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 1, 2018 in Grace Health Care.
Anita attended Cleveland Elementary School and Abingdon High School where she loved to sing in the choir. Anita enjoyed knitting and had a great love for horses, cats, and dogs.
Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Hazel Nelson; brother, James Nelson.
Anita is survived by two sisters, Virginia Martin of Bristol, Va. and Teresa Ann McCracken and husband, Jerry of Abingdon; two brothers, Eugene Nelson of Chilhowie, Va. and Lewis Nelson of Abingdon; two nieces, Misty Dawn Martin of Bristol, Va. and Ashley Marie Nelson of Chilhowie.
Anita’s request was to be cremated and a private family service to be held at a later date.
