Abingdon, VA– Anne Elizabeth Gobble Good, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Valley Health Care Center. She was born the third child of the late Earl Gobble and Cleo Whitt Gobble on January 7, 1941. Anne was a graduate of Greendale High School and received her B.A. in English from Radford College in 1961. She was a member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church and attended as long as her health permitted. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Mihara. She is survived by two brothers, Billy Gobble and wife Nancy of Dublin, GA and Harry Gobble and wife Peggy of Southport, NC; and a brother-in-law, Bob Mihara of Asheville, NC. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum of Knollkreg Memorial Park with the Reverend Barbara Farmer officiating.
