Annie Carolyn Mills Fuqua

Annie Carolyn Mills Fuqua, age 88, passed away suddenly with her daughter and grandson by her side on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Fuqua was a member of Abingdon Baptist Church for over 40 years. Carolyn was born to the late Leon and Beulah Mills in Tabor City, NC on February 20, 1925. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Everette Emerson "Rusty" Fuqua, II, and two brothers.

She leaves behind her daughter, Elizabeth Laing of Abingdon, VA; two sons, Harry Emerson (Diane) Fuqua, II and Everette Emerson (Frances) Fuqua, III both of CA; brother, Linwood Mills of NC; two sisters, Drucilla and Catherine both of SC; seven grandchildren: Tiffany Kukulica; Danielle Laing; Ryan Laing; Lindsey Parker; Harry Fuqua, III; Avery Fuqua; and Everette Emerson Fuqua, IV; and two great-grandchildren, Aliera Malihan and Zoey Kukulica.
