April Lynn Kelly

April Lynn Kelly passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the age of 65. She was born on March 29, 1960, in Washington County, Virginia to Tom and Joyce Hudson.

April was an avid animal enthusiast; she worked for Dr. Jones along with her daughter Samira for many years. She loved caring for animals, cutting down trees (she loved her chainsaw), her flowerbeds, and she loved telling stories of her past.

In addition to her parents, April was proceeded in death by her husband, Randy Kelly. She leaves behind her daughters, Samira Rosenbaum of home and Jawana Cullop (Derek); grandchildren, Kiera Cullop and Mikey Cullop; and great-grandson, Grayson Combs . April is also survived by her loving and special friend, Sam Rosenbaum; a brother; two sisters; nieces and nephews; and her loving little dog, Gemma Jo.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Main Street Chapel to Farris Funeral Service. The funeral service will be on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Sean Franklin officiating. Following the funeral, the committal service will be at Greenfield Baptist Church Cemetery, 30080 Hawthorne Drive, Meadowview, VA 24361. Mikey Cullop, Craig Hudson, Levi Curtis, Nick Hudson, Tonny Hudson and Devon Hudson will be service as pallbearers.
