Audrey Blake Dotson was born on June 1, 2016 at 3:05pm at Niswonger Childrens Hospital in Johnson City, Tenn. to Brandon Ray and Angela Renea Dotson. She was born at 34 weeks and 2 days, weighed 3 lbs 9 oz, and was 17 inches long.
Audrey was perfect, beautiful, and strong which was represented by the simple meaning of her name. The meaning of Audrey is strong and her fight for life showed all how precious life is. Audrey lived a full life in a very short amount of time. She has touched many lives and was so loved by family and friends. She fought many complications so she could live to meet her parents and immediate family, as each had the opportunity to hold her. Our little princess will never be forgotten and now has earned the strongest wings in heaven. Audrey entered Heaven on June 2, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. in the arms of her mother and father.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers Rev. Buford Smith, Junior Lester, Roy Looney, and Rell Dotson; great-grandmother Thelma Looney; and uncle Brian Keith Dotson.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by maternal grandparents - Danny and Carol Looney of Big Rock, Va.; paternal grandparents - Billy Ray and Deborah Dotson of Meadowview, Va.; great-grandparents Mary Lou Smith of Grundy, Va., Evelyn Dotson of Hurley, Va. and Ruth Lester of Hurley, Va.; uncles Derick Dotson, Tyler Dotson, and Danny Looney II; aunt Bailey Dotson; cousin Henley Belle Dotson.
