Belvia Riddle

Chilhowie, VA Belvia Riddle, age 91, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Valley Healthcare. She was born in Wilder, VA and had lived in Chilhowie for a number of years. She was a Christian and attended Victory Baptist Church. Belvia was predeceased by her husband Theodore “Ted” Riddle; her parents Eddy and Annie Bott Caudill; granddaughter Robin Riddle Pennington; and daughter-in-law Barbara Riddle. She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Riddle of Meggett, S.C., and Roger Riddle and wife Roberta of Bristol, Va.; daughter Jeanette Adams of Chilhowie; brother Frankie Caudill of Front Royal, Va.; sister Vivian Bellamy and husband Fred of Meadowview, Va.; sisters-in-law Gwen Caudill of Bristol, Va. and Ellen Caudill of Cleveland, Va.; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her loving and caring extended family at Valley Healthcare. A funeral service for Mrs. Riddle will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Jerry Eggers officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memory Gardens on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
