Bertha Catherine Thomas Crabtree

Bertha "Bobbie" Thomas Crabtree, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 3, 2014 at her home in Cleveland, VA. She was born on April 5, 1943 to the late Graham and Jual Thomas. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Garland Wilkinson, and brother Billy Thomas.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Michelle Adams and husband John of Glade Spring; two sons, Mark Wilkinson and wife Amber of Abingdon, and Michael Wilkinson of Abingdon; two granddaughters, Courtney Rouse and fianc�© Brian Bentley, and Myleigh Wilkinson; three grandsons, Stephen "Scott" Rouse, Jr. and girlfriend Brittany White; Matthew Wilkinson, and Chesney Wilkinson; and two step-great-grandsons, Hunter and Jacob Bentley. She is also survived by her sister, Phyllis Boardwine of Bristol, VA; two brothers, Kenny Thomas and wife Joyce of Tennessee; and Jackie Thomas and wife Kay of Meadowview; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral service for Bobbie Thomas Crabtree will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014, in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, with the Rev. Dr. Carl Young officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be John Adams, Brian Bentley, Stephen "Scott" Rouse, Jr., Matthew Wilkinson, Walt Bolling, and John Mark Boardwine. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday at the Forest Hills Chapel from 1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m, and friends may also call at the home of her son Mark Wilkinson, 26911 Watauga Road, Abingdon, VA 24211.
