Bertha Louella Glass Wolfe

Bertha Luella Glass Wolfe, age 87, of Piney Flats, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Waters of Bristol. She retired from the Veterans Administration where she served as a Dietician for 32 years.

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Glass and Betty Humphrey Glass; husband, Jerry Fletcher Wolfe; siblings; Emmett Glass, Garland Glass, Eugene Glass, Clyde Glass, Margie Poole, Genevieve Walden, and Jane Belcher.

She is survived by three children: Estelle McVey of Meadowview, Va.; Jerry Wolfe and wife, Donna, of Mt. Olive, Ala.; and Tammie Casasola and husband, David, of Piney Flats, Tenn.; two brothers, Frank Glass and Alfred Glass; six grandchildren, Brian McVey, Michael Wolfe, McKinley Casasola, Austin Casasola, Roger Burgett, and Bobby Burgett; three great grandchildren, Riley McVey, Dillon Wolfe, and Kylee Wolfe.

A funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Estel Williams officiating. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Old Glade Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16th from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
