Bettie Brown Price

Bettie Brown Price "Brownie", age 85, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012 at her home. She was born to the late Manuel Brewer and Nancy Robinson Brewer in Russell County, Virginia on February 15, 1927. She was a member of Damascus Road Baptist Church.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cecil Price; step-son, Edward "Ebbie" Price; step-daughter, Doris Williams; three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by three nieces, Nancy Crabtree and husband Lee of Bristol, TN, Bettie Brady and husband Pat of Ashland, VA, and Audrey Salts of Blountville, TN; three step-daughters, Faye Stevens and husband Don of Bristol, TN, Brenda Harrison and husband Greg of Bristol, TN, and Nancy Glover and husband Curtis of Lebanon, VA; and three great nieces, Angela, Lisa, and Niki Reynolds.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the Mountain View Mausoleum of Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Bristol, VA with Rev. John E. Massey, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to attend are asked to convene at the Mountain View Mausoleum of Mountain View Memorial Gardens at 12:45 p.m., Wednesday. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
