Mrs. Bettie Irene Anderson Henderson, 81, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 27, 2017.
Bettie was the daughter of the late Clyde and Lena Mae Wynegar.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Gene E. Anderson; brothers, Dan and Clyde “Buddy” Wynegar; sisters, Belle Aistrop, Joyce O’Quinn, and Margaret Harkleroad.
Survivors include her husband, David S. Henderson, Sr.; daughters, Lesa Anderson Bergeron and Tracy Anderson Barber; step-children, David S. Henderson, Jr. and Shelia Lampkins; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Bart, Don, and Eddie; and sister, Millie.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in Glade Baptist Cemetery with Chaplain Stephen Lester officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142; or Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090.
