Betty Barron McCue, age 92, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. She attended Columbia University and was a graduate of Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in Troy, NY. She was a United States Army Veteran of World War II having served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Nurse Corps. She was a member of Sinking Spring Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Barron and Bessie Waugh Barron; loving husband of 68 years, Frank A. McCue, M.D.; and sister, Marjorie Davison.
She is survived by four children, Cheryl Prandoni and husband Jogues of Bethesda, MD, Frank Barron McCue "Barry" of Honolulu, HI, Susan O'Connell and husband Dan of Rochester, NY, and Alfred McCue and wife Rema of Abingdon, VA; and three grandchildren, Daniel O'Connell of Cambridge, MA, Afton McCue of Abingdon, VA, and Lauren O'Connell of Sonoma County, CA.
Friends may express condolences to the family between 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2013 at the Colonial Chapel Mausoleum of Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
