Betty Eleanor Hughes Huffman

Castlewood, VA – Betty Eleanor Hughes Huffman, age 81, passed on Saturday, June 19, 2021, in Commonwealth Senior Living.  Betty was a life-long resident of Russell County and worked as a seamstress in several textile plants.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hyter Hughes and Nannie Wallace Hughes; husband, Billy Joe Huffman; daughter, Tammy Vicars; and several siblings. 

Betty is survived by her daughter, Terri Bise; grandchildren, Robin Pyle, Cody Bise, Colton Bise, and Jessie Bise; great granddaughter, Macie; nephew, Mickey Hughes; sister-in-law, Betty Hughes. 

Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.  Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Temple Hill Memorial Park.
