Billie Sue Webb

Billie Sue Ball Webb, age 75, died March 8, 2023, at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, VA. She was born November 6, 1947, daughter of the late William “Pete” and Emma Sue Ball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Johnny Webb, and a son, Robert John Webb.

She is survived by two children, Belinda Webb Woodall and husband Todd of Abingdon, VA, and Nicholas Webb of Newport, TN; four adored granddaughters, Lauren, Lacey and Landree Woodall, and Ella Webb of Newport. Additional survivors include two sisters, Sandy Webb of Newport, Frieda Hartsell and husband Rusty of Asheboro, NC; lifelong friend Sherry Strange and family, sister-in-law Louise Watts, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Billie Sue’s greatest title was by far that of “Gigi.” She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at First United Methodist Church Chapel of Newport with funeral services following.
