Bly Wilcox Gobble Barger went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in Johnston Memorial Hospital. Bly was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church and a former employee of Harwood Manufacturing and the Abingdon Burger King. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Holly Gobble and David Barger, her parents Author and Annie Wilcox, six sisters and six brothers, one daughter, Evelyn Gobble McNey and one granddaughter, Holly Coleman. Bly is survived by two sons, David Gobble and wife, Karen of Gulf Port, Miss. and Wayne Barger and wife, Joyce of Meadowview, Va., three granddaughters, Kathy Jones and husband, Tim of Emory, Va., Cindy Coleman of Glade Spring, Va. and, Angie Doss and husband, Ronnie of Glade Spring, Va., three grandsons, David Rose and wife, Cindy of Tampa, Fla., Tim Gobble and wife, Shannon of Gulf Port, Miss., Theron Gobble and wife, Andrea of Gulf Port, Miss., two grandsons by choice, Jerry Coleman, Jr. and Roy Coleman both of Glade Spring, Va., two step-grandsons, Jeremiah and Kevin Barger, one brother, Kenneth Wilcox and wife, Lois of Sidney, Ohio, sister-in-law, Mary Wilcox of Abingdon, Va. and Betty Feathers of Blountville, Tenn., and very special friends, Eddie and Peggy Baily and Gray Hamm and many others. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Mt. Carmel Christian Church with Mr. Walt Staude and Minister Ronnie Musick officiating. The committal service will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
