Bobbie J. Fleenor, age 76, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at her residence in Abingdon, VA. She was born in Washington County, Virginia to the late Bradley Kirk and Nellie Casey Kirk on March 3, 1947. Bobbie loved playing cards, spending time outdoors working in her garden and watching Star Trek, but above all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Fleenor, Jr.; four brothers, David Kirk and Timothy Cassady and two infant brothers; stepson, Greg Fleenor and daughter-in-law, Jocelyn Singleton.
Survivors include her two daughters, Angela Porter (Henry) of Arizona and Anita Vaughn (Justin) of Colorado; her son, Shane Singleton; two sisters, Ann Slate and Sue Singleton (Randy); six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 1:30 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery – 839 Bluff City Hwy., Bristol, TN 37620 with Pastor Dalton Richardson officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to St Jude’s Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org.
