Bonnie Ann Cunningham, 89, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. The children there affectionately called her “Miss Bonnie.” Bonnie was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed working with hand crafts.
Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, Tom Maiden and Lucille Garvey Maiden; and sister, Dorothy “Dot” Stoe.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Millard Cunningham; daughter, Teresa Ornduff, and son by marriage, Rick, of Abingdon, Va.; granddaughter, Ashley Monk and husband, Brandon, of Roanoke, Va.; great-grandchildren, Mason and Samantha Bell Monk, and a new arrival due in July; brothers, Harry Maiden of Florence, Ala. and Wayne Maiden of Chattanooga, Tenn.
