Bonnie Louise Widener

Bonnie “Lou” Widener, age 56, of Abingdon, Va., gained her wings on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born to the late Bill Widener and Carrie Lee Moody Widener on September 11, 1964, in Washington County, Va. She was employed as a housekeeper at Country Inn and Suites in Abingdon. She was a nature enthusiast and a fan of Tennessee Volunteer football.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Carol Colley. She is survived by her fiancé, Buddy Alan Moody, of the home; daughter, Amanda Jennings and fiancé, Jeffrey Bramlett, of Chilhowie, Va.; two sisters, Linda Singleton of Bristol, Va. and Elizabeth “Lucy” Widener of Abingdon, Va.; two granddaughters, Maddie and Emma; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Amanda and Jeffrey’s home, 38367 Loves Mill Rd., Chilhowie, VA 24319.
