Brady Allen Moody, age 51, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was born February 21, 1966, to Allen Lee Moody and Wilma Jean Owens Moody in Abingdon, Va. Brady was a talented cook and an avid Carolina Panthers and Wake Forest football fan. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Lee Moody; and an infant daughter, Elizabeth Brittney Moody.
Brady is survived by his wife, Haroula Moody of Winston-Salem, N.C.; mother, Wilma Jean Owens Moody, of the home; three children: Maria Capparelli and husband, Jimmy, of Clemmons, N.C.; Angelo Moody of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and Austin Moody and fiancée, Tiffany Hawkins, of Clemmons, N.C.; sister, Diana Ball and husband, Bobby, of Abingdon, Va.; brother, John Moody of Abingdon, Va.; two grandchildren, Vincent and Harrison Capparelli; an additional grandchild on the way; nine nieces, and four nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at 25352 Wexmouth Dr., Abingdon, Va. 24211 at any time.
