Bridget Regina Harmon, age 54, was born December 6, 1963, in Richmond, Va. She went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2018, after a nine-year battle with cancer. She was a member of El Shaddai Baptist Church in Bristol, Va. Bridget’s passion was anything to do with being outside and planting flowers.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Bott; and her son, Adam Harmon.
Bridget is survived by her mother, Betty Bott; daughter, Tiffany Harmon and husband, Josh Hutton; and brother, Jerry Bott. She had two grandchildren which were her pride and joy, Miah Nevaeh and Malachi Adam.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the JMH Regional Cancer Center; Dr. William Mark Handy; and Linda Castle Duty and Wendy Boyd from Home Nursing Company, Inc.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2018, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor David Wilson and Pastor Charlie Harmon officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff Cross, James Harmon, Jake Hutton, Josh Hutton, Dale Nash, and Darrell Slagle. Floyd Singleton will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the funeral home to defer the cost of final expenses.
