Candace Lavonne Stanley

Candace Lavonne Stanley, age 51, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at her home. She was a resident of Bristol, Va for most of her life moving for a number of years, then back to the Abingdon area where she had currently resided.

Kandi loved horses and horsepower. She was a free-spirited, happy person. She was always smiling. She had a career in cosmetology and owned multiple rental properties.

She was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Joy Stanley, and two brothers, Jeff and Todd Stanley.

Kandi leaves behind one son, Jeffrey Allen Berry, one brother, Mark Stanley, neice, Rene’ Shelley, nephew, Cody Stanley, great-niece, Zailey Abel, also Kandi’s companion, Lynn “Lenny” Reynolds.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, Va.
Visitiation with the family will be from 1 p.m. until time for service.
