Mr. Carl Golden Gill, age 78, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 4, 1938 in Washington County, Va. to the late Oliver Gill and the late Cora Stout Gill.
Carl enjoyed camping and loved going to the beach.
Carl is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marie Wise Gill; one son, Greg Gill and companion, Leah Laughlin of Bristol, Va.; two daughters, Teresa McClellan and Sharon Gill both of Bristol, Va.; two grandchildren; Jessica Salyer and husband, Michael of Blountville, Tn., and Lauren Leulu and husband, Aaron of Fairfax, Va.; one great-grandchild, Mahala Salyer of Blountville, Tn.
The funeral service will be conducted 11a.m. June 16, 2017 in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Charles Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
