Carnes "Connie" Estelline Watson

Carnes Estelline Connie Watson, 80, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. During her working years, Connie was employed by Roanoke Fashions. She was a member of Gospel Tabernacle Church.
Connie was predeceased by her mother Eva White; sister Shelby Harding; brothers Jimmy Latham and Joe White; and aunt Mary Ragan. She is survived by five sons, George and Darrell (Kathy) Watson, and Johnny (Teresa) White, all of Meadowview, Ronald Watson (Sabre) of Bristol, Va., and Mark Watson of Glade Spring; five daughters, Phyllis Trivett and Elaine Vannoy, both of Glade Spring, Kim Goff and Ashley Cook, both of Meadowview, and Misty Bright of Johnson City, Tenn.; brothers William (Barbara) Latham of Abingdon and Buster (Delores) White of Meadowview; sister Betty Widener of Meadowview; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Connie Watson will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Revs. David Robins and Darrell Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Casket bearers will be selected from grandsons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from noon 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
