Carolyn L. Slaughter

Bristol, VA – Carolyn L. Slaughter, passed on Monday, January 22, 2024, at her home.  Carolyn was a graduate of Wise High School and was an employee of SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals for many years.  She was a member of Fellowship Chapel and enjoyed serving her community with Meals on Wheels.  Carolyn loved spending time with her family and traveling.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Loretta Stallard Hale, and David Slaughter.  She is survived by her husband, Scott Slaughter; two daughters, Diannia Privette and husband Mike, and Regina Slaughter; granddaughter, Ashley Brown-Smith; great granddaughter, Peyton Ryleigh Brown; Rocky Brown; and sister, Judy Cole.

Cryptside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum of Forest Hills Memory Gardens.  Pastor Scott Price will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fellowship Chapel Building Fund, Meals on Wheels, or Gideons Internation in Mrs. Slaughter's name.
