Carson C. Rasnake

Carson C. Rasnake, age 85, of Lebanon, Va., passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at The Waters of Johnson City.  He was an elder of the Lebanon Church of Christ.  Carson was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War.  He retired from his position as Mailroom Supervisor at Southwest Virginia Community College at the age of 75. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Rasnake and Ethel Kiser Rasnake; and several siblings.   Carson is survived by his wife, Jean Rasnake; two sons, Michael Rasnake and wife Allison, of Jonesborough, Tenn. and Kendal Rasnake and wife, Jennifer, of Green Bay, Wis.; sister, Lettie Perry of Bristol, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Carson and Georgia Rasnake.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.  The committal service will be private.
