Carson Leslie Mullins, age 72, passed on Monday, December 9, 2013, at his home. Carson was born December 5, 1941 in Cucumber, WV to the late Clarence Mullins and Virginia Freeman Mullins. Carson retired from Heartbreak Hotel, Elvis Presley Enterprises, in Memphis, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur "Moon" Mullins and sister, Shirley Crussel.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pat Stumbaugh Mullins; son, Eric Carson Mullins and wife Wendy of La Vergne, TN; step-daughter, Beth Stumbaugh; mother-in-law, June Stumbaugh; daughters, Teresa Mullins and husband Fred Wright and Tammy Meade and husband Jimmy; brothers, Buford Lewis Mullins and wife Carolyn Mullins, and David Barker; grandchildren, Kyra Mullins, James Goslinski, Alicia Kestner, Joshua Clark, Justin Clark, and SSGT John Blomquiest; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2013, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. John Thrasher officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
