Mr. Charles Elsworth Densel, 80, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, at his residence. He had served in the United States Navy and Army and retired after many years working as a maintenance technician. He moved from Florida to Indiana to marry his wife Patricia, and they moved from Indiana to Abingdon 10 years ago to be near family. Mr. Densel loved WWE wrestling and traveling, and he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia J. Lowe; sister Mary Pirkle; son David Lowe and wife Tammie; daughter Sondra Seipel and husband Art; grandsons Theyeron Lowe, Kenny Dea, Robby Boles, Christopher Dea, Robert J. Dea, Nicholas Altman, Samuel Boles and Thor Seipel; granddaughters Patricia Lowe and Robin Boles; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016, at the home of David Lowe, 1065 Hillview Drive, Abingdon, VA 24210. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
