Charlotte Virginia Ball Clark

Marion, VA – Charlotte Virginia Ball Clark, age 85, passed on Friday, October 28, 2022, in Rural Retreat Health Care.  Mrs. Clark was a certified nursing assistant for over 42 years and an employee of Francis Marion Manor for many years.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley Albert and Inez Marie Castle Ball; husband, Rev. Riley T. Clark; brother, Palma Ball; children, Thrish Warner and Sherlene Vanover; and granddaughter, Bambi Blevins.

She survived by her children, Joe (Nicole) Clark of Marion, VA, Melvin (Rhonda) Clark of Rural Retreat, VA, Angela (Allen) Blevins of Marion, VA, Michelle (C.T.) Eagle of Florida, Issie Wood of Abingdon, VA, Riley (Emma) Clark of Abingdon, VA, and Barbara Durham of Lynchburg, VA; brothers, Johnny Ball of Marion, VA, Paul (Mary) Ball of Marion, VA, Doug (Lorraine) Ball of Marion, VA, Randall (Carol) Ball of Marion, VA, and Manuel (Shelia) Ball of Marion, VA; sisters, Eleanor Church of Marion, VA, Carol West of Marion, VA, and Barbara Shelton of Marion, VA; sister-in-law, Ann Ball; several grandchildren; special neighbor, Ann Williams; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.  Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Knollkreg Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Sage officiating.
