Christeene Blevins Sheets

Christeene Blevins Sheets, 80, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011 in Johnston Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 17, 1930 and was a daughter of the late Banner and Nine Elizabeth Blevins. Mrs. Sheets received vocational certification through Virginia Polytechnic Institute and retired from the Washington County School System after teaching for 35 years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ansel Sheets; a brother, Tedd Blevins and two sisters, Mildred Mathes and Trula Browning.
Survivors are her sons, and daughters-in-law, Ross H. Sheets and wife, Kathy Hill Sheets and Lloyd A. Sheets and wife, Nancy; and grandchildren, Annie, Abram and Jacob Sheets; special niece, Barbara Stephenson and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 At Mt. Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Virginia. Interment will follow. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday, January 3, 2011 at Farris Funeral Service.
