Christine Ellen Robinson

Christine Robinson peacefully passed away on April 12, 2025, at Johnston Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. Christine was born on July 4, 1942 in Saltville, Virginia to the late Deck and Maggie Harris. Christine was a loving wife, mother and Nana. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her seven brothers and two sisters, as well as her son-in-law, Wesley Crabtree.

Christine is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Randal; two daughters, Pat Forrester (Steve) and Peggy Crabtree (Jerry Casey); five grandchildren, Brian Forrester (Tighe), Andrea Bunton (Cody), Brittney Barr (Derrick), Kirsten Sykes, and Ashlynn Crabtree; four great-grandchildren, Maddux Forrester, Callie Bunton, Emma Barr, and Garrett Barr; twin brother, Curtis Harris; brother, Donald Harris; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Christine will be from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with a funeral following at 2:00 p.m. with Jeff Fritz officiating. The committal service will be at Mt. Rose Cemetery with Brian Forrester, Derrick Barr, Cody Bunton, Tommy Harris, Jerry Casey and Eddie Sykes serving as pallbearers.
