Christopher Wade Counts, Jr.

Meadowview, Va. – Christopher Wade Counts, Jr., age 32, was called home on May 29, 2021, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He had served his country with the United States Air Force, and worked as a machine fabricator.

He leaves behind the heavy hearts who will never forget the love and joy he brought to them. He is survived by his parents, Christopher W., Sr. and Kathy S. Counts of Meadowview, Virginia; sister and best friend, Samantha C. Nelson of Meadowview, Virginia; grandparents, Robert and Sue Counts of Meadowview, Virginia, and Christine Helton of Abingdon, Virginia; several uncles and aunts; several cousins, with two special cousins, Erin and Alex Testerman of Meadowview, Virginia; several friends; and his beloved dog.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 6, 2021, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service (427 East Main St., Abingdon, VA 24210). A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM, with David Stovall officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Air Force and the Highlands Veterans Honor Guard.
