Clara Jean Fields, age 44, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019, at the Sun House. She was a lifelong participant at Highlands Community Service Day Support.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roy and Virginia Fields; and mother, Lucille Virginia Fields.
Clara is survived by her aunt, Sarah Fields “Tillie” France, of Claypool Hill, Va.; several cousins; and her Sun House family.
A funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Hwy., Abingdon, VA 24210. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Forest Hills Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics Virginia, Southwest, 1100 S. Main St., Blacksburg, VA 24060.
