Clara Peggy Woodards

Abingdon, VA - Clara Pauline “Peggy” Woodards, age 81, passed on Friday, February 21, 2025, at her home. Peggy was a joy to all who knew her, she had a beautiful child-like spirit. She loved her pet cat Snowball, cartoons, Roy Rogers, and Santa Clause.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Bryant Woodards and Oscar Woodards; sister, Joann Bryant, who took excellent care of her; nephew, James Arlus Bryant; and brother-in-law, Arlen Bryant. Peggy is survived by special friends, Michelle and Randy Woodward; and several cousins and close friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, VA with Rev. Lisa Bryant and Rev. Donna Hester officiating.

Peggy was lovingly cared for by special friends Rhonda Russell and Gwen McCall.
