Clarence Edward Fullen, age 76, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on November 29, 2017. Clarence loved his BMW convertible, starched jeans, shined shoes and Motown. He worked hard and played hard- sometimes too hard.
He leaves behind his brother, James Fullen; sisters, Delephine Perrow, Mary Cowan, and Melva Jean Fullen; sister-in-law, Glenda Fullen; and brother-in-law, Clinton Perrow II. His parents, Wyndom and Betty Fullen; brothers, William Fullen, Fred Fullen; and sister, Dixie Fullen are waiting for him in heaven with more love than he has known on this earth.
Clarence leaves a host of nieces and nephews who will miss the chance to know what a wonderful uncle he was.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m.-2:45 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Elder Billy E. Fullen officiating. A committal service will be held in the Memorial Grove Pavilion of Forest Hills Memory Gardens at 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
A reception will be held at the Heartwood following the committal service.
