Clifford Jason Hancock, age 36, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Jason attended Patrick Henry High School and was previously an employee of VDOT. He was a Little Panther Football coach and referee and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford Widener, John Tuggle and Georgia Tuggle.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Hancock; three daughters, Kelsey, Aleah Jaye and Jordan Hancock; parents, Joyce (David) Hancock of Glade Spring, VA and Huey Tuggle of Saltville, VA; grandmother, Minnie Faye Widener; brother, Brian Hancock of Glade Spring, VA; sister, Angela Cannon of Wideners Valley; four nephews, Austin Wynegar, Leyland Hancock, Ricky Cannon and Christopher Cannon; two nieces, Kairi Ann and Amber Wynegar; great niece, Jayden Dawn Cannon and special friend, Linell Rowland.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Glade Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Tommy Wilson officiating. Active pallbearers will be Chris Cannon, Ricky Cannon, Brandon Shuler, Brian Hancock, Travis Wynegar, Austin Wynegar, Anthony Boardwine and Doug Tuggle. Tim Cassidy, Roger Widener and Emory Wayne Cannon, Jr. will be honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 A.M. Saturday at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Family and friends wishing to go in procession to the cemetery are asked to meet at the funeral home by 11:30 A.M. Saturday.
