Clint Alan Thompson, age 38, passed on Saturday, January 6, 2017 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Clint was a native of Louisiana and a graduate of Denham Springs High School. He was a member of Highlands Fellowship, a loyal LSU fan, and enjoyed RC cars. Clint is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wilbert Thompson, Sr. and Annie Elizabeth Sanders Thompson; and maternal grandparents, Julian “J.B.” Wright and Fern Jones Wright.
He is survived by his wife of nine years, Dr. Melody Counts; his loving daughter, Isabella Bliss Thompson; parents, Wilbert Thompson, Jr. and Terrie Wright Thompson of Denham Springs, LA; brothers, Cory Thompson and fiancée Katie Ryland and Jason Thompson and fiancée Jackie Kemp, all of Denham Springs, LA; mother-in-law and father-in-law, William Larry Counts and Betty Miller Counts of South Clinchfield, VA; niece, Piper Nicole Kemp; nephew, J.B. Thompson; cousin he considered a sister, Jennifer Sholar; cousin he considered a nephew, Jack Sholar; and many other loving family members.
Visitation with the family will be held 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Daniel Thomas officiating.
