Connie Sue Dollar, age 57, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon. She was born December 3, 1953, daughter of the late Charles William Harris and Mary Sue Smith Harris. She was a member of Highland Chapel Church.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her daughter, Libby Ann Snodgrass; her grandson, Michael Paul Dollar, II; and her brother, Charles William Harris, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Clifton Paul Dollar; one son, Michael Paul Dollar of Abingdon; one daughter, Pamela Mae Malone Caywood and husband Tony of Bristol, TN; one grandson, John Paul Malone Caywood of Bristol, TN; three brothers: Ralph Douglas Harris, Paul Edward Harris and Roger Dale Harris, all of Abingdon; two sisters: Judy Ann Griffey and husband John, and Freda Mae Stumbo and husband Rick, all of Saltville; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Donna Saltz of Saltville.
The funeral service for Connie Sue Dollar will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2011, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Cecil Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Billy Shaffer, Jimmy Price, Shane Wright, Brian Coe, Kenny Harris and Allen Price. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Caywood, David Saltz, Danny Jackson and Rick Stumbo.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 13, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. Ã?¢ââ??¬" 8:00 p.m.
