Cranson Doyle Boothroy

Cranson Doyle Boothroy, 62, died Monday, February 18, 2019 at his home in Krasang, Thailand.  He was born on August 28, 1956, in Denver. CO.Cran Graduated from High School in 1974 at Parkersburg, WV; he received a BS degree in Business Administration and an MS degree from West Virginia University.He worked for 3 years for a computer company in Dallas, TX; Hartford, CT; and New York City before he joined JC Penney’s when they were relocating their headquarters from New York to Plano, TX.  He was with them for 27 years until he retired and moved to Thailand.He is survived by his parents, Mary and Doyle Boothroy of Abingdon, VA; his wife, Rudeeporn Boothroy of Krasang, Thailand; a five-year-old son, George E.; a sister, Candace A. Bower and Husband, Michael; and two nieces, Rachel Costa and Megan Bower.A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 24, 2019 in the Pleasant View United Methodist Church chapel, 18416 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA with Rev. Dale Gilbert and Rev.
