Bristol, TN – Curtis B. Emmert, age 73, passed on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, (John 3:16) at his home. Curtis was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a truck driver for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Lewis Emmert and Clara Juanita Whitaker Emmert.
He is survived by four children, Cassandra Lynn Emmert Arnold of Marion, VA, Melanie Dawn Emmert Arnold of Abingdon, VA, Richard Lewis Emmert, III of Hopewell, VA, and Christopher Curtis Emmert of Damascus, VA; sister, Judy Moorefield and husband Randy of Abingdon, VA; brother, Darwin Emmert and wife Ronnie of Ohio; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
