Dallard Lowe

Abingdon, VA – Dallard Lowe, age 79, passed on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at his home. Mr. Lowe worked as a Dairy Inspector for the State of Virginia for over 40 years. He was saved and baptized in March of 1974 and was a member of Heavenly Rest Freewill Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher. Dallard is preceded in death by his parents, Prill Lowe and Millie Spears Lowe; brothers, Victor, Hallard, and Virgil Lowe; sisters, Rosselle Syck and Velma Grizzle; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lacy and Icie Lester; and brothers-in-law, Virgil and LeeRoy Lester. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean Lester Lowe; brothers-in-law, Howard, Edd, Paul, Thurman, James, and Ralph Lester; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Dales; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. A private graveside service will be held for Mr. Lowe at Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
