Darlene Alice Landry

Dateline:  Damascus, Va.-   Darlene Alice Landry, age 86, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Landry was born May 1, 1932, in Ohio to the late Marvin Niles Maynard and the late Alice Golden Maynard. Mrs. Landry moved to Damascus in 2003 from New Hampshire. She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Abingdon. Mrs. Landry had worked as a beautician for over thirty years. 

Besides her parents Mrs. Landry is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Raymond A. Landry and one daughter, Adrienne Mayes. Mrs. Landry is survived by two daughters, Laura Cavanagh and husband, Michael of Vermont, and Gayle Morton and husband, Bruce of Tennessee; three sons, Joseph H. Landry and wife, Trudy of Damascus, Raymond A. Landry, Jr. and wife, Julie of North Carolina, and Robert L. Landry and wife, Laurie of South Carolina; three sisters; Florence Patten and Louise Langlais both of New Hampshire, and Marrianne Woods of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. 

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church.
