Dave Allen Coleman

Dave Allen Coleman, age 68, of Glade Spring, Va., passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Dave worked at Bristol Compressors for 20 years until ill health forced his retirement.  He loved to talk and was a friend to all.  Daily walks became his pass time. 

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Issac and Roxie Coleman; son, Jonathan Coleman; sisters, Mary Carter, Evelyn Campbell, and Sarah Gammons; and brothers, Marvin Coleman, James Coleman, and Bill Coleman.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Rose Coleman; son, Devon Coleman; sister, Irene (Billy) Wells; and brothers, Prince Coleman, Mack Coleman, Charles Coleman, and Tony Coleman.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Blacksburg Cemetery with Elder Melvin Johnson officiating.  Visitation will be held on Thursday prior to the graveside service from 12:00 p.m.-1:45 p.m. at Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
