David Allen Crist

Mr. David Allen Crist, 71, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was born August 2, 1944 in Grandprairie, Minn., son of the late Noah and Florence Crist. David had lived in Lansing, Mich. and was the owner of Mid-Michigan Overhead Door Company for 35 years. He served in the United States Navy and was a war veteran of the Vietnam era. David loved to travel and was a great outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mountain climbing. He was proud to be the #1 Michigan State Spartans fan. David was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Crist; daughter Joelle Crist; sons Mark Crist, Matt Crist and Mitch Warner; brother Dan Crist and wife Donna; sister Donna Terry; second mom Joy Rampley; sister-in-law Rhonda White; grandchildren Steven Crist, Tim Crist, Ryan Crist, Alysha Crist, Jackson Warner, Solimar Coln and Marisa Crist; great-grandchild Emma McArthur; his furry kid Mabel; a large extended family and many friends.

The memorial service for David Allen Crist will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
