David Charles Cole Jr.

David Charles Cole, Jr. passed away on Monday July 8, 2013 at his home. He was the world's greatest tree climber! David was born on December 26, 1958 in Elkton, MD and lived in Texas and Delaware before coming to Virginia. His lifelong work was a climber in the tree service business. He was preceded in death by his father David C. Cole, Sr., two sisters Brenda Adams and Janet Brown, and a nephew Jason Oliff.

David is survived by his soul mate Sheri Rose of the home; his mother Wanda Cole of Alvin, TX; two children of his heart Bethany Dooley of Glade Spring and William (Amber) Robinson of Atlanta, GA; a brother Robert (Carla) Cole; two sisters Teresa Hall and Lisa Pressley all of Alvin, TX. Eight grandchildren of his heart survive, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

At his request, Dave will be cremated with a private memorial service to return his ashes to the Earth at a later date. The family sends special thanks to his hospice nurses Pam, Teresa, and CNA Greg for their wonderful care of the entire family.
