Dawson Lee Widener

Infant Dawson Lee Widener, age 2 months, 29 days, of Glade Spring, Va., went to join his maternal grandmother, Juanita Lea “MaMaw” Boone, in heaven on Thursday, January 14, 2021. 

He was born to Daniel Blaine Widener and Shannon Lea Boone on October 17, 2020, in Abingdon, Va.  In addition to his parents, Dawson is also survived by his sister, Mandy Lea Boone, of the home; paternal great grandparents, Danny and Jean Widener of Abingdon, Va.; paternal grandmother, Jessica Widener of Abingdon, Va.; maternal grandfather, Danny Boone of Glade Spring, Va.; maternal great grandmother, Carole Morsberger of Laurel, Md.; great grandmaw, Peggy Fox and her husband Robert Fox; two uncles, Alexander Worley of Abingdon, Va. and Dustin Boone of Glade Spring, Va.; two aunts, Danielle Perry and husband, Ben, of Saltville, Va. and Carrie Boone of Glade Spring, Va.; and two great aunts, Allie Widener of Abingdon, Va. and Donna Morsberger (Renee Bradley) of Laurel, Md.; great uncle, David Wayne Morsberger; and six cousins.
