Deborah Fields, 55, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Specialty Select Hospital in Bristol, TN. Mrs. Fields was born in Richlands, VA and spent the first 48 years of her life in Tazewell, VA before moving to Glade Spring. Deborah was a service leader at the Highland's Fellowship Church Country Tent, member of the Greendale Nursing Home Ministry, and attended a weekly bible study class. She enjoyed amateur radio and fishing. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Lee and Irene Harris Christian.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Rowland Fields; two sons, David (Patricia) Fields of Glade Spring, VA and Christopher (Miyuki) Fields of Abingdon, VA; three brothers, Allen (Mary) Christian of Richmond, VA, David (Joyce) Christian of Tazewell, VA, and Donnie (Peggy) Christian of Princeton, WV; sister, Patricia Moore of Tazewell, VA; five grandchildren, Ashley Terry, Gracie, Sarah, Misaki, and Noah Fields; loyal companion, Rosy.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday July 18, 2012 at the Highlands Fellowship Church Country Venue with Pastor Jimmie Davidson officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service
