Delaney Nicole Counts

Abingdon, VA – Delaney Nicole Counts, age 4, passed on January 28, 2024, in Niswonger Children’s Hospital in Johnson City, TN.  Delaney enjoyed her Bluey toys and loved her family.  She loved to laugh and was the light of our lives.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Cary Ryan; and paternal grandfathers, Robert Zona and Donnie Counts.

Delaney is survived by her loving parents, Stephanie Mott Counts and Stephen Counts; three siblings, Briella, Raelynn, and Elliott; paternal grandmother, Karen Zona; paternal great grandmother, Joletta Counts; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation with the family will be held 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2024, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Bryan officiating.  Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Stephanie Counts, Stephen Counts, Adam Counts, and Gage Lewis serving as pallbearers.
