Deloris Ann Jordan Cross

Abingdon, Va. – Deloris Ann Jordan Cross, age 62, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

Deloris worked as a store manager in wholesale and retail sales. She was very devoted to her work, but she also loved spending time with her grandbabies.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents: Bruce Edward Jordan and Oneta Jordan Ashebrook, and her grandparents: Rosa Castle Culbertson and Whitfield Brockman Castle, Roy Dayton Jordan and Bessie Ruth Holbrook.

Deloris is survived by her three sons: Kevin and wife Amy of Jonesborough, TN, Timothy of Abingdon, and Dustin and wife Samantha of Castlewood; four sisters: Sherry and husband Tom Conkle of Blountville, TN, Teresa and husband Mackie Hawkins of Abingdon, Joy and husband Mike Harris of Glade Spring, and Denna and husband Harry Burleson of Bristol, VA; one brother: Jeff Jordan of Marion, VA; five grandchildren: Kelsey, Chloe, Tyler, Skyland, and Brayden; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2020, 5:00-7:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life service immediately following, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, located at 427 E. Main St., Abingdon, VA., with Pastor Bill Salyer officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at Temple Hill Memorial Park, 2529 Memorial Drive, Castlewood, VA 24224. Tyler Salyer, Jake Brown, Luke Brown, Josh Conkle, Brock Hawkins, and Cody Harris will serve as pallbearers.
